VVStudio is a design and creative studio in Amsterdam. I'm Vasco Vicente, its founder, a creative director and design director with over two decades of experience and 82 awards.

Founded in 2019, the studio keeps the idea, the identity and the work that carries it under one roof.

How we work together

Brands hire VVStudio directly for a whole project: a rebrand, a design system, a launch campaign. I lead it from strategy to the final frame and bring in the designers, animators and makers it needs.

Agencies bring me in as a freelance creative director or design director in Amsterdam, for a pitch or a team that needs a lead. Recent partners include AKQA, Uncommon, MullenLowe, Mother and Studio Herrström. With MullenLowe UK, I led the winning Rumble pitch.

Amsterdam is home. I worked for years at Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam, and since August 2026 I'm creative director at AKQA Amsterdam.

Heineken's Legendary Posters won a Silver and three Bronze Lions at Cannes in 2014. Other clients in the city include WeTransfer, Eye Filmmuseum, Dutch National Opera & Ballet, Gemeente Amsterdam and Nike SB × Noord Skatepark in Amsterdam-Noord.
